There are many aspects of country life I enjoy, and I can't say the same about city life. I am, afterall, a country boy. My current annoyance involves the never-ending construction that takes place outside my bedroom window. As I am on the groundfloor - it is a very unpleasant wake up call. Oh well.

On the topic of unpleasant-ness, my animation will be on hold until I find animators willing to collaborate for a nickel or less, or until the financing comes through. This just means I get to fully explore and flesh out the animation in its entirety by myself. I would have wanted to see this piece be complete before winter. So it goes.

BUT, it's okay. As I have begun working on an installation. One project slows down, and another picks up - that's how this game is played. I just hope these projects get picked up in the end! This installation has me excited, as it involves knobs and switches. EVERYONE loves knobs and switches! Right? Well, here is where you can help me: if you happen to have a film sound projector, please let me know. I am looking for as many soundheads as possible. The more the merrier and crazier this installation will become. Some might see where this project is leading already and I assure you - you might be right. This will also require some financial assistance, ever the elusive cat that it is. So wish me luck as I work on writing up the proposal, budget, and design of what is to be a very entertaining piece involving knobs and switches.

I have been quite the busy individual, too busy to provide you an update. So I'll offer you this piece as an apology. a a a. I will be completing pre-pro for the animation this week (I hope, maybe kinda) and am preparing to enter two film festivals. Quite exciting. OH, Synapse DVDs are ready to be mailed. I have not even considered how I will go about offering those to the public (and at what cost?). I will think about that issue as well as other legal matters in the financial world. On that note - you will notice, perhaps, a 'donate' button on the right bar. You can donate to my productions, so yay. Words of encouragement are also gratefully taken.
