I figured that last post allowed me to delay a few updates... yes that is my excuse. Actually, my real excuse is a lot more amusing. I finally purchased L4D AND Valve released the Scout Update , so I've been a bit preoccupied.
*ahem*
Oh, if you happen to be one of the many Steam users, be sure to look me up (ID= levington). And if you're interested, I will be online quite a bit this weekend (my lady is out of town!). Yes, although I understand the repercussions of such a statement, I will still post it as it gives me a kick. Which, funny enough, might be what's waiting for me.
There have been a few updates, here and there, such as the little tracker on the right side, just so we know where all of our friends are from. I don't know how long I'll keep it, so enjoy it while it lasts. I also am reconfiguring the archives, just because I can. Boo yah.
In other news:
The pizza was delicious, although a bit soggy in the middle. It still made great leftovers!
My sunglasses have not been used as Rochester is being Rochester - gloomy.
Two comics are due for you this weekend, enjoy them as we begin to get into the MEAT of it all.
Dare I say that a new section will be up? I like to call it: SHTHTS.
Depending on when I wake up this saturday, I might have a fun little sound design mix as I haven't played around with my equipment in what seems like ages. We shall see if the love is still there.

I am sleepy
Can't get enough of that golden crisp... *yawn*
In other news: CHECK IT
At some point I'll upload it but I'm still sending it around to festivals so y'all just have to be a bit patient.
I'm making pizza tonight.
I got new sunglasses, they are polarized.

Pardon me as I finish up some errands. Brilliant sun flashed me and I am speechless.
Also, I need to shave.
Also, I need to shave.

feast or famine
The golden rays of morn break through my curtains and I easily forget that we are still within the grey grasp of winter.
It is quite easy to fool oneself. And encouraged.
I am very excited for the end of this week. Friday will offer a very enjoyable experience. Saturday will be grand all on its own as well. And then Sunday is my sister's birthday. Granted she is a little over 2000 miles away, but I've never been one to care much about physical distances. "It's the thought that counts", is a way of summing it up.
Oh, I did not get to visit the diner, MAYBE this weekend. I know, I'll celebrate my sis' birthday at the diner. Yeah, she would love for me to go. I'll get some cake too.
I hope they have cake.
I'm working on some ink designs and future designs for future stationary-type items. Yeah, soon you'll be able to purchase items that contain my silly drawings. Then again, I've been known to offer some nice things as well. All in good time. The sun continues to rise and I must be off to tend the cattle.
But, there is no cow level.

you walk like a fat person eats
no matter how hard you try, you know you're getting nowhere.
Does that make sense to you? Well, get used to it as I tap into my weirdness and script ideas to add some flash to this here section. Speaking of sections, there will be a new one added. Hopefully by the end of the week. When is that? I don't know, I can't identify when a week ends or begins, nor do I know how long one lasts. Perhaps one day I will run a week's length, then and only then will I know. For time is but another measurement of distance and we are so far apart, you and I. Dimensionally speaking, have you seen this? It's a fun animation at that.
The roads were slick this morn. The best part of working the night shift - the commute. Unless for some weird freak occurrence, which you should always plan/hope for, you never have to worry about traffic. Of course, this also means that you don't have much of an excuse to ever be late.
No, I have been on time every day!
so far.
In other news:
It was about 6 degrees Fahrenheit this morning, though it didn't make much of a difference to me as I burn hotter than most.
I am feeling better! The best part of being sick is the moment you begin to get better. Only then do you feel amazing and ready to do anything. My body was ready to do a backflip, but I stopped myself as I was in the middle of something - a crowd. Usually, I am only awake to be aware of my health worsen in condition. This time around, I was also awake to feel myself improve as if someone just plugged me right back in. I felt 'super'. Well I am not at a 100%, but it won't be long.
Um.... I also bought some apple juice.

Day for night
I took dayquil last night for comfort. "Why?", you might ask yourself. Well, this new job of mine has me working the night shift, also known as 'C' shift. It's quite an interesting ordeal and I have yet to become accustomed to the hours. I have heard that one's health worsens when they take on the night shift due to not keeping a consistent sleep schedule. It's been over a week and I am keeping my sleep schedule consistent, but there is still this odd feeling that is quite overwhelming. I feel I am living a second life on this shift, a shame it's not an exciting one. It's essentially the exact opposite of a normal day schedule. I wake up around 7:30pm and stay up until about 10am. Yet I am exhausted on a whole new level. It's all very interesting, I suggest you try it!
In other news:
I have heard of a diner that I was unaware of. I've been in the Rochester area for over seven years, so to just find out about this diner is exciting to me. I will report back once I visit, after this weekend.
The Denny's locations here, I hear, were packed. I conclude that people love free food.
Some crazy lady on the radio likes to clean her rugs out on the snow. The theory goes that you can beat the crap out of your rugs while they lay face down on dry snow. Why you just don't hang the rugs as usual and beat the crap out of them beats the hell out of me.
The best event that has happened in the past 12 hours: some random entity, who identified itself as 'liza', has text messaged me. She would like to know what the homework assignment was. Obviously, I replied.
Yet another cliffhanger.

of sickness and cough drops
Well, "later today" equates to the following week. Get it? As a result, my punishment is a terrible sore throat. I hope that is all I suffer, although I will admit that missing an update should be punishable, but more along the lines of having no cake rather than becoming sick.
I hate sore throats. A LOT. The need of using cough drops continuously is also a terrible fate. My solution is simple: get lots of sleep. And I surely will, I hope.
My updates will become ever more frequent as I feel I need to put this section to more use. SO, I will provide you the type of news that only I can offer: whatever the hell I come across. And I don't mean things off of the internet. I mean from the real world. Honest. We'll see how it goes.
First off: there is a street sign that indicates the name of the road outside of my house. It's totally upside down. I can only assume that it was "repositioned" by a snow plow.
Also, a snow plow truck totally got stuck in our driveway. I have gotten stuck in the driveway twice. I have new tires now, so hopefully I won't anymore.
Today, Denny's is offering their grandslam for free until 2pm. If I wasn't so sick, I would be there. I don't even like going to Denny's, but that is definitely the right price to give it a try again. Well played, Denny's. Too bad I am sick.
Hrmm... ah yes.
Yesterday was Groundhog Day, one of the very few holidays I like to celebrate. Of course, I only celebrate it by watching Groundhog Day (I give it 5 stars). Unfortunately, because of my current physical state (being sick) I slept all day instead. Oh well, I hope you were able to celebrate!
Due to the lack of freelance work at the moment, I have picked up a temporary job. I will write more on it at a later time.
This is what I like to call a 'cliffhanger'.
