Back onto dreams. How should one feel when, upon returning to a familiar place, it is discovered to be quite different? And who was it that took me aside to discuss what shade of pink should be used on the walls?
It was to be a lengthy discussion, but distractions were plenty.
A cousin once sincerely asked, "don't you wish we could have just stayed as kids?"
"Never", was all that ran through my mind. What little power there is in a child to find the truth in things. All things. I was quite fond of the accessibility features given to an adult. Squabbles and worries are nothing if but a reasonable fee to enjoy this portion of life.
But I'm now forever cursed to hear that line whenever my dreams take me to a childhood haunt.
Thanks a lot, man.
Have you heard about the best illusions of the year? Check it. What joy there is in knowing that what we perceive is not absolute. The brain, it is a pleasure to explore! I highly suggest you take the time to learn of it as well. The safest way is to read a book on the subject, as even I must agree that the hands-on approach might not be the most appropriate.

Summer's going's to eat you
Think for a moment: what catches your attention first - the sun light that breaks through the trees, or the shadows it creates? As you drive down a road, do you feel excited as you enter the shadows, or break free into the light? Perhaps you prefer when the two mingle, weaving together to create a kaleidoscopic experience? All for you.
If only you would take the time look, you would see there is so much more. Out there.
And in you.
